Introduction

ProviderConnect is a Web-based clinician access software portal for providers. ProviderConnect is accessed by any Web browser. No software installation is required at the provider's facilities. This is achieved through the use of Web services, that transmit client treatment and billing data through a Web browser safely and securely.

• Access client demographic, financial eligibility, treatment, service authorizations records and submit bills.

• Providers do not have to be logged in to Avatar to use ProviderConnect.

• Minimize paper-based communication, eliminating redundant data.

• Edit checks ensure data validity at time of entry to reduce errors, and that data is HIPAA compliant.

• Generate reports on transactions between ProviderConnect and Avatar.

• The software, database, and infrastructure reside at a central data center facility maintained by Netsmart.
